I purchased a few items at great prices, and used an OS coupon. Their checkout system is pretty buggy with coupons. I would have a coupon in my cart, click checkout, sign in, and the coupon would be gone or replaced with a lower-value coupon. They don't have a way for you to stay signed in, and their carts are on a cookie, not an account basis. After a while I gave up and used their live chat, and the representatives were pretty helpful after spending like 15 minutes asking me confirmation questions. After 2 chats and a lot of clicking, I finally got it to work. Their customer service is good, but their software needs work.

Pricing is hit and miss, as is selection. Although shipping is only $2.95 per item your credit, should you return an item, is charged as if the original shipping charges were not discounted. There is no free shipping on returns unless the item was defective or the wrong item was shipped.

If you buy it here, be prepared to keep it. I find that buying and receiving is easy, but they make the return process so complicated, it makes you not want to bother (which is probably what they want). I have been trying to return a defective watch for about 2 months now. First, they shipped me another instead of a refund. Then when I went to return it again, it came back to me indicating the recipient had moved. So, I have sent it off again, and am hoping for a refund this time. Overall, I find you can get great deals on O, but customer service leaves some to be desired.

Overstock has a variety of items with excellent prices. Their luggage prices are unbeatable. They have great buy on jewelry. Their shipping is the lowest I've seen except when there is a "free shipping" offer. I would recommend the check Overstock before making a purchase of most items to see if they have it. If they do, I'm sure you won't be able to beat the price.

Overstock.com is great. I was so satisfied with my first purchase of a memory foam mattress topper that I told my two daughters and they also purchased the topper and some sheets sets. I have also purchased sheet sets and a pair of winter boots that I am looking forward to receiving. I have also won several bids on the overstock auction. I am definitely going to be using Overstock.com many more times in the future.

Overstock is my #1 alternative to Amazon. Honestly, if I could find everything I was looking for at the O, I wouldn't go anywhere else! Shipping is prompt, service is good and items always arrive safe. Plus, you get a rebate from Mr. Rebates! How cool is that?
Just so you know: often the coupons for overstock do not apply to media items alone: music, DVDs, books, etc. If you add an item from elsewhere on the site: linen, a screwdriver, whatever, the coupon will suddenly apply to the whole order.
There are good people at Overstock. Give them a try!

Overstock always has great bargains on a wide variety quality merchandise. The product reviews are helpful in making purchasing decisions. Most of the product categories make shopping on line easy; however, more categories in the media (movies and books) section would be helpful. Live chat customer service is more responsive than phone assistance, and live chat has a much shorter wait time.

They have super fast customer service that is friendly and efficient. Great products - it can be hit or miss, depending on what you are looking for. It is easy to order and they have fast shipping. I have purchased shoes, jewelry, household items, and bedding and have been pleased with everything so far. The reviews from other buyers are really helpful when considering buying certain items.

We were all over the place looking for luggage including Walmart, Macy's, Target etc. Overstock gave the largest collection at an affordable price. The shopping experience was nice. We rate this retailer the highest rating.

The format of the website is very well laid out. I like how when you look at an item there is a list of similar items on the side of the screen. I find that very helpful and I often use that function. I wish that when I was browsing for electronics that the default setting was only new items instead of new and reconditioned or at least have the reconditioned items clearly marked.

I just purchased a new Nikon D50 SLR digital camera. This was about my 5th or 6th purchase from Overstock.com. Customer service is great! I have had a few minor issues with oproducts and they have always been so glad to help out. ThHey offer a live on-line assistance that is first class! I will definitely shop with them again!

Usually, this is a fantastic store. Lately, the quality of the products I have received seem to be less than I had anticipated. I tried to contact customer service via the telephone and was on hold for 45 minutes before I gave up trying.

I love Overstock when looking for good deals on items that I may have seen elsewhere at regular price. You can find great deals on jewelry, books, clothing, handbags, etc. I got an expensive designer-brand handbag at considerable savings! And I treated myself to some nice new sterling silver necklaces at a great price for the fall! Definitely check out Overstock.com for all of your shopping needs before going to the full-priced "box" stores out there! There are tons of great savings to be found!
And once when I had a problem with a coupon link not working, I used their live help button & the customer service woman helped me out & put the coupon right into my shopping cart for me so that I could continue placing my order!
