What did we do before eBay? This is the place to go for items that have disappeared from the store shelves. I find it a great place for high-priced cosmetic items that never go on sale. You can usually save about 20-30% by shopping eBay. I find people tend to overpay though, I assume because they assume it's cheaper on eBay and don't check the rest of the net. Overall, I can't remember how I lived before eBay, but I'm glad it's here to stay.

Of course it’s difficult to give an accurate review about eBay since what applies to one seller may not apply to the next, but overall, the corporation does 'earn its keep'. However, it’s easier to make that claim as a buyer who isn't charged a fee for purchases. Now, ask a seller if they feel like eBay deserves the percentage that they have to pay for each item sold!
In any case, from my experience, almost all of the customer service issues, when handled according to protocol, are resolved so that everyone is satisfied, and in what could potentially be a disastrous forum to control, eBay has done an amazing job!

Ebay is terrific. You can find just about anything you could ever want there. I've purchased a lot of items from ebay over the years. I purchased my RV on ebay. I saved $20,000 over what the dealerships wanted for the same make and model.

eBay is a great place to find everything and anything that you are looking for. You can buy things new and used and find great deals. I really enjoy just browsing eBay, you will be amazed at the things you can find. Paypal is a great paying method that they offer as long as the seller is willing to use it. It really assures you safety due to the fact that you are buying from people and not from a store.

eBay has been one of my staple "stores" for ordering things for myself as well as for gifts! If there is something out there that you really want & either can't find it in a store or maybe you want to look for a better deal, then eBay is the place!! I always check eBay before buying from other stores, and have saved considerable amounts of money buying this way. And it's fun! The adrenaline of the final minute of an auction is a lot of fun!! Most sellers are wonderful & you can receive your items usually within a week. And when I have had a problem with an auction, eBay has been pretty good at working with me to resolve my issues.

I have been a regular eBay shopper well over a year now. I can find anything I need without the hassle of going to the mall. I love eBay. I have had great experiences with all the eBayers. I highly recommend shopping on eBay.

Sometimes I can find what I'm looking for cheaply. It has been a life saver shopping for clothes for my 2yr old that is already in 4T. I can buy his clothes cheaply and don't feel so bad if he doesn't get many wears out of it before it's too short to wear. I will continue to shop here. I always know what I’m willing to bid. It can be easy to be "sucked" in and overpay. I usually enter my top dollar bid and walk away. If I win, I win...if I don't...oh well...there will be something else.

I have been an eBay user since 1999 as mostly a buyer. eBay has changed a lot of over these past few years. What was once a place to find an excellent bargain now has become so popular and has such competition that often prices are driven up higher than what you would pay retail. If you are a scrupulous eBay shopper, you can still find good deals and eBay is still a useful place to find unique and discontinued items. There is always a buyer beware element to purchasing, though there are now tools in place that give more protection to buyers than in the old days. The feedback rating system helps but isn't perfect. I use caution with new sellers and tend to buy repeatedly from those I have had good experiences with. I have also sold items on eBay and unfortunately have had to deal with non-payment from buyers more often than I would have imagined. Paypal makes checkout a breeze and eBay's search features are very helpful. You can certainly find almost anything on eBay!

This is a great place to look for bargains on all sorts of items that people are selling both used and new. I have been using eBay for several years now and have not had a bad experience at all but then again, your experience depends on the people you are buying your item from. Even then if you suspect fraud, eBay, has several policies and guidelines that help prevent, protect, and insure their customers.
