It is the best online shop to order a customized computer at a reasonable price. But if you call their sale counselor for help, they will try to sell you a lot of things that you may not need. Overall, I probably will buy Dell again in the future.

Dell Home has good products, however their service is somehow weird. Instead of showing on their website, they charge you money then tell you this product is currently unavailable. You then can wait up to several months. Also, the shipping was inconsistent: sometimes took a week, sometimes more than 2 months.

The website was very easy to use, and it made shopping very nice. I was able to find what I needed and check out quickly. After I placed my order, I had very fast delivery. Dell earns a well deserved A+ from me!

I have been very happy with all of my Dell purchases in the past. Their site is very uncomplicated and simplistic. They offer online deals all the time on computers, TVs and everything else. Customer support is kind of a nightmare. Most of the time you have a hard time understanding the person at Dell. They are also quick to blame issues on other companies.

The ordering process was straightforward, however, I didn't find it to be particularly helpful if I didn't know what I wanted to purchase. It would have been helpful to have some sense of what was 'typical' for certain types of usage. I can appreciate the 'recommendations' when ordering, but I consider those to be self-serving. But a typical or sufficient configuration for a ordinary user (e.g. word processing, email, websurfing) vs. a gamer (may need extra memory) or something like that would have been particularly helpful.

The ordering process is really fast. My product was supposed to be shipped in 3 days. But they were so fast that I even received it in the 4th day. The only negative is that they did not accept a valid coupon I had.

Dell has very limited warranties, for example, they insist on people buying separate software coverage and say warranty only covers hardware. I don't agree with this.

This was the first time I purchased a computer online site unseen. I was a little nervous about it, but once I navigated through the store, I became very comfortable. I enjoyed being able to customize my system. Any features I was unfamiliar with I was able learn about by clicking a link. My computer turned out to be a great value for the money. Shipping was fast and secure.

In general, I've been very happy with all purchases that I have made at Dell Home. I would say that the only area that is a little weak for Dell Home would be their customer service because they outsource it to foreign call centers who often are hard for people to understand and seem to only follow scripts which can be a bit annoying.
All in all though, Dell is a good solid place to buy computers.
