As a male shopper, you might not think twice about shopping at Macys but let me tell you a little secret. They are one of the best places to buy suits! About 3/4 times a year they have sales on suits. Usually when they have a few left of brand name suits, they will slash the prices big time to get rid of inventory. Only bad thing is you have to spend usually over $100 to get free shipping.

The online site has such a better selection than my hometown store. I can take an item to the store to return. They run many sales.

How I miss The Bon Marche, now simply Macys. They tend to be expensive and shipping can be quite high. They also clearly spend a lot of money on advertising which is practically endless. I prefer to order online, but pick up items at the store in order to avoid shipping costs. I've learned the hard way to double check that the item is actually available at the store (there are several in my area).

I always hesitate to order online from Macy's. Shipping is unreasonable, in my opinion, and when ordering from the gift registry, no coupons, codes, etc., may be used. That definitely keeps me from using that method of purchasing gifts, even though it would be much easier. Another irritation - the last time I ordered a gift item, I paid the extra $5 for gift boxing. Well, come to find out the item had its own box and that's how they sent it - but charged me the gift box charge anyway. I questioned it but was told it was their"policy" not to refund gifting charges. You can be sure I won't use that option again!

There`s always something wrong with the orders - wrong items sent/missing items/extra items. Products online are frequently not available. Customer services do not always reply customer inquiries. Better go to Macys in-store than shop online.

My experience with Macy's has overall been pretty poor. I ordered a particular item and received the wrong thing. This happened to me three times. When I called the second time, the customer service representative didn't even listen to my story before she interrupted me and told me that it was my fault because I ordered the wrong item and that I received what I ordered. Finally, come to find out, they had the item number matched up with the wrong item description, but couldn't let me order the item I really wanted.

Great deals at the end of the season and during special sales. Very convenient if one does not have a Macy's close buy. Unfortunately, their website is not always up-to-date. I ordered a shirt on sale and even though the purchase went through, it was refunded because they had run out of shirts.

Had a hard time with their website - it wouldn't show me all the links - had special offers on shipping but when I clicked the links nothing happened. I had to call Customer Service, but she acted like I was stupid or something - just because she could see the special offer when she clicked didn't mean I could! Once she told me what it said if I could have read the click then I knew what the special shipping offer was and I could make a decision!

Macy's is first class in quality for merchandise. If I can’t find it in the store the internet site is always a blessing. Their selection of sale items is always great and makes me spend more than I need to.

Macys is a great place to shop! You know you'll be receiving quality merchandise. They have a huge selection of adult clothes. I only wish they had a selection of children's clothes to shop from. Be patient and buy when they have sales, and you'll get great buys!!!.
Their home section is great. They have everything under the sun and everything I have ordered from them has arrived in perfect condition. No broken glasses, plates, collectibles, flatware, etc.
Their shipping prices are steep! It's better to shop in person to avoid the shipping charges.

Macys have always been one of my favorite stores to shop with. Macys online made it easy to find things that you can't get in their stores. They provide a great selection. They give out extra saving coupons which make shopping an added bonus.

Free shipping offer was great along with the cash back. I was able to use gift cards and save gasoline by shopping online. I received the items very quickly and did not pay for upgraded shipping.

Macys.com is a very good online store where most of the times you can find items that are not even in most of the Macys' stores.
I ordered many times from them and they are very reliable.
They processed very fast the order and we received right away.
