Something I really liked about shopping on the Eddie Bauer (outlet) site was that after I added something to my cart and clicked "continue shopping," I was taken back to the place I had left, rather than being redirected all the way back to the homepage.
Since I was shopping clearance items late in the season, many of the items that I was looking at were not available. After I would click "add to cart", I would receive a message alerting me that the item was no longer available. That was a little disappointing, but not too bad. I was pretty disappointed though, when I found out after placing and confirming my order that one of the items had sold out. I was notified of this in an e-mail the day after I had done my shopping. I wish I would have gotten one of the automatic alerts while I was shopping so I would have had the opportunity to find something else.

I don't like that they have a separate handling charge.
Whenever they have sales, it is a considerable deal.
They do tend to run out of stock during the sales.

The quality of Eddie Bauer clothes is excellent and I recommend them highly. I shop Eddie Bauer Outlet frequently and have never had negative customer service with Eddie Bauer Outlet. The prices are good and even better with the extra percent off of the sale merchandise! My only "complaint" is that I sometimes do not find both the size and color of my first choice, so I know I am not the only one who shops Eddie Bauer Outlet and waits for the end of season sales!!!

Eddie Bauer Outlet had a WONDERFUL sale going on. However it was such a good sale that everyone else was shopping at the same time which made the web site very slow. The items also sold out quickly but I am pleased with what I was able to get!!

Some items showed being in stock until you tried to add them to your cart and then the website slowly told you they were out of stock. Also as an outlet store many items were not available in most colors and sizes. This made assembling my order a bit more time consuming than usual but my shopping experience was otherwise very good. Be warned your final order confirmation comes up in a pop-up window, so if you have pop-ups blocked you will not be able to view or print your confirmation.

EB Uutlet has great high quality clothes that don't look like they belong on sale. They have one of the largest size ranges, with nice styles for all. Their clothing selection is mostly classic, with lots of choices for both business and casual for the 30+ set. High quality features accent their clothing. Shipping is very expensive, though.
