I have ordered only twice from 1800 flowers, years apart, and both times have been disastrous.
Years ago, I ordered something, I don't even remember what, and it arrived dead. They refunded my money and I went elsewhere.
I attempted to use them again for Mother's Day this year, thinking that in the spans of several years, they ought to have improved. I ordered an elegant, $70, full monochromatic bouquet with lots of flowers including roses and lilies, and little greenery, in a ceramic vase. It was specifically advertised as being monochromatic, as that's what made it so elegant.
Their first fault was a late delivery-so far outside the promised window that my mom had actually left for the day. The thing was hideous, and tacky, and looked like I'd gone to the grocery store, bought a clearance bouquet, and thrown it in a vase. I immediately telephoned them and insisted on a refund. They wanted to send a replacement but I was not about to embarrass myself twice. The man gave me difficulty in agreeing to the refund. He finally agreed, which according to what I understand from friends who've been similarly victimized by a 1800 flowers bait and switch routine, is hard to get them to concede to so I was lucky.

I have used this online service several times, and I have never been disappointed. They have such a wide selection of flowers and gifts to choose from, and sometimes I've been online longer than I've meant to, just trying to make up my mind. I like the fact that they have online delivery confirmation, and every person I have purchased for has been more than pleased. I would highly recommend this store to anyone interested in sending wonderful gifts and/or flower arrangements.

I was concerned about the customer service, however after a few attempts to correct and order they performed well. I would order again, and will continue to use them. Make sure and register for the petals program it pays off. In addition to the rebate here, I have received an additional $20 in 1800Flowers rebates.

If you are looking for a last minute gift, this flower shop is defiantly the way to go. With most of their items shippable within 24 hours you will never miss a special occasion again. While, the prices are slightly higher than the other online flower sites, you will get what you pay for. I ordered the apple martini bouquet for a friends 21st birthday. It looked very true to the picture online, which can be an issue with several sites, and she absolutely loved it. It was worth every penny. No complications with shipping and the quality of the flowers are amazing.

Great selection of gift ideas for friends and family in distant locations, but EXPENSIVE delivery charges! If you're sending to someone close, save money by buying locally.
Other than that, I use this site often to send flowers to friends and family in other states.

1800flowers is one of my favorite online flower stores. They provide excellent customer service and always a fantastic selection. I have ordered from them multiple times and I have NEVER had a problem with any order. I would confidently recommend this store to anyone. Plus their prices and discounts combined with rebates is awesome!!

I have had great luck with the products. They are always beautiful and the best of quality. The only thing I would change is that I am never able to use the wonderful promotion codes (15% off, 20% off etc.) that are sent to me. It seems like every arrangement I choose is "not eligible" for promotion discounts. It kind of defeats the purpose of being that "special" customer when you can't use the coupons they send you.
