They sometimes have the cheapest flights. The site is easy to navigate. I have never had any problems ordering from them.

I love this site and it is great for finding the cheapest travel. And it is great to be able to click through Mr. Rebates and get an even better deal. Out of all of the travel sites I found this one to have the best choices.

I keep going back to the Hotwire.com for the hotel + car or just a car rental deal. I just get lucky getting the best price from them comparing to other similar web sites every time we are planning a vacation. So I'm back again.

I've used Hotwire multiple times over the last three years. Usually you will get a decent deal on a hotel or car rental. There was a time that I made a purchase on Hotwire and then found the price was lower and notified Hotwire. They backed up the low price guarantee that they advertise without any problem. If you find a lower price within 48 hours, they will double the difference and give you a credit. Nice guarantee!

Hotwire's prices aren't as good as they used to be, but that's probably a function of the airfare market. The option of adding trip cancellation insurance gives someone more security when purchasing a Hotwire ticket.
Hotwire now lists some regular fares (at a savings of $5 or $10 or so) for which customers can receive frequent flier miles. While I like all these innovations, I still wish Hotwire's prices were as low as they used to be.
My last purchase came after getting a message from Northwest Airlines about a fare sale. Knowing we had to buy tickets for a long-distance wedding, I checked Northwest and then Hotwire. Hotwire was lower than Northwest's fare sale price by $6 a ticket. Of course we didn't get the frequent flier miles, but when I factored in the Mr. Rebates rebate (another $4) I figured it was better to save $10 now than get FF miles I might not use in years and years.
So yes, I still use Hotwire most of the time.
