I love Gilt City. It's a luxury version of Groupon. I have found and used several deals on Gilt City. Everything from Treatful vouchers to a Coffee of the month subscription to flying lessons. It's been great for gifts.
Keep in mind that Gilt City offers luxury items. Not everything is expensive luxury but that is the general vibe. Some of the items I've bought have been incredible deals, a luxury item for a crazy-good price. Some of the items I've passed on have been intriguing but way out of my price range. For example, yes, I would like to have lunch with Gary Danko but no, I will not be paying $600 for it. But it's a lot of fun to check out their site and see what they offer.
