Buy.com is a great website to shop at, the only downfall is that I have to pay tax living in California. Still, that's not their fault. They have always delivered as promised in the past; their website is clear and easy to navigate. Their prices are fair and they have nice coupons which can be used from links from other sites. I have never had a problem with them, or with the quality of their products. I never made a return or dealt with customer service so I cannot comment on that aspect. Good website overall.

Buy.com has a wide selection and pretty good prices.
Their fulfillment and customer service could use some work, however.
Although they are usually cheaper than Amazon, they're also usually a bit slower than Amazon.
If you're willing to wait, you can find some deals here though.

My first buy was excellent. I got the product at a really good price. I had some problem using a coupon and Buy.com customer service worked to give me the credit. Shipping is pretty fast.

I have used Buy.com several times in the last year and have had no problems. Prices are great and shipping is usually free and very fast. I also get 3% back using Buy.com credit card and another 3% from Mr. Rebates!

I shop several times from buy.com, and every time was very satisfied. Last time I receive Gigabyte motherboard next day after I place the order online, even though I choose free budget shipping (7-9 business days). It was amazing surprise.
The pricing is usually very competitive and you can make the deal even sweeter applying the coupons and receiving cash back from Mr. Rebates!

This is my first time ordering from Buy.com. I saw a laptop that was at a good price so I ordered it. The whole processed was fast but OH my god was I disappointed when I received my laptop. It was suppose to be brand new. It appears to be used with scratch on it. The laptop would not close due to a broken door. I emailed them and returned the laptop for a replacement. They send a new one out fast. Hopefully, when I get a new one, everything should be good.

Buy.com is great! They ship quickly and very good at communicating the status of your order. They also have great customer service. I had an issue with an item I bought from them and they quickly resolved it and also gave me a nice credit on a future purchase. Buy with confidence!

The good: their prices are great. The bad: it is very difficult to find what you are looking for on their site. Their search capability is terrible and you have to wade through way too much irrelevant stuff to find what you are looking for. Of course if you are persistent, you can end up finding some good merchandise at excellent prices. If anyone from Buy.com is reading this please make a deal with Google to have them provide search capability for your site.

This company is GREAT. Very trustworthy and will do anything to make the customer experience perfect. I have ordered a lot through them for over five years and have NEVER HAD A PROBLEM, especially with returns and credits, even when it was my fault.

Buy.com is my first choice for electronics, software & accessories. Their prices are usually the best and the free shipping is FAST. In fact, I paid for shipping only once and it actually took longer to arrive. CD's took longer too. They have regular price promotions that you can watch easily in their e-mail notices.

I have had several problems with Buy.com shipping my orders - on 2 separate occasions I had to call to find out what had happened to my items. One time my order just got stuck in their system without being shipped and the other time a FedEX label had been ordered but the item was not shipped until I called up. If I had not paid attention to my orders I would not have received my items.

I discovered Buy.com several months ago and I love it. I always look here to compare when I am shopping for something and more often then not they have the best price. They have a great tracking system for your orders so you know exactly when to expect your item to be delivered.

Buy.com is a great alternative to amazon, especially for books and electronics. Many items ship free! I was surprised when a flash drive I purchased arrived two days later via FedEx -- at no extra cost (probably due to my living in California, where this item happened to ship from). Buy makes a great effort to price books below Amazon’s prices, and sometimes I can find excellent rebates that are available nowhere else (example: $14 off the flash drive).
If I have a gripe, it's with customer service. A digital recorder I ordered was lost by UPS, and it took a few days until Buy put a tracer on it and replaced my order. The standard method of contact is email, but you can find the phone number on the net by googling. Once I reached a live operator, they responded promptly and I had the option to either replace the order or have my money refunded.
Most online coupons for Buy say NEW CUSTOMER ONLY but it can be worth your while to click on them anyway. A few times the coupon was honored and I saved even more off my purchase by buying with Mr. Rebates!
