I don't shop Barnes and Noble that often. The few times I have, everything has been great. They offer coupons through email if you sign up for them. It's always good to save some money! Shipping is usually pretty quick and they also have a great selection.

I usually don't shop at Borders, but I recently received a gift certificate from them. I think their webpaqe search options are very poor. After you've done a search, the webpage shows lots of images of book covers and it's not the most obvious thing to figure out how to get more information. Plus, if the list has, say, 70 items on it, you can't just get a list. You have to look at book covers (or DVD covers, etc.). Since I'm not interested in their membership program, the prices are no lower than going to any full-priced bookstore. It is nice to get free shipping on orders of at least $25. Unless I receive another gift certificate from them, I won't shop there again. I also won't use their webpage to get information, i.e., I often hop on amazon.com or Barnes and Noble.com to read reviews, get more information about a book, to see how well something is selling, etc. Can't do those things easily at Borders.

Borders is a nice place to browse but most times they don't offer the best prices. I usually choose the ship to store option on small orders to save on shipping but it takes forever to get there. Also they don't offer many coupons that you can use on the online store anymore. If you are in the market for books, try Barnes and Noble.

The checkout process was easy. Finding books by title or author is easy, however using the general search engine by age is harder. If you are just browsing, it is easier to do so at the store. Shipping was quick.

I found the books I wanted easily. The prices were good. I love the free shipping, and items were quickly shipped.
