The REI Outlet is a great find! Prices are seldom flat out cheap, but that's because REI sells quality items so their sale prices need to be viewed in this light. I always check them if I'm looking for something that REI should carry, and I've had a lot of good luck with them. You don't get the member rebate from Outlet purchases, but you can opt to pick up your purchase at store in order to save on shipping costs. REI customer service is terrific-- they actually seem like they want to help you.
